Following the filing of a Writ of Habeas Corpus on behalf of the paternal grandparents who had not seen their grandchildren in over eighteen months, Mr. LoFrumento successfully negotiated weekend overnight visitation between the grandparents and their grandchildren.

Mr. LoFrumento successfully argued on behalf of his client the Defendant-Wife that the Plaintiff-Husband be found in contempt for his failure to pay spousal support pursuant to the parties’ Judgment of Divorce. The Defendant-Husband’s sanctions have been set down for a hearing.

Mr. Langione recently negotiated a $1.3 million settlement on behalf of a Suffolk County woman who represented the estate of her 51 year old husband who died as a result of the failure of the defendant hospital and its employees to timely provide a vascular surgeon in response to the decedents presenting vascular emergency. The case continues against a number of private physicians and another hospital.

Mr. LoFrumento recently negotiated the return of his client’s eighteen month old daughter from Las Vegas, Nevada where she had been residing with her mother for the previous four and one-half months, as well as for New York state to be the child’s home state for Uniform Child Custody Jurisdiction Enforcement Act purposes.

Mr. Catterson, on behalf of his defendant-client, successfully negotiated the discontinuance of a multi-million dollar lawsuit with prejudice wherein the defendant-client was not obligated to pay any damages to the plaintiff.

Mr. LoFrumento successfully litigated the issue of his client's, a U.S. Army Reservist, relocation from Brooklyn, New York to Atlanta, Georgia with the parties' two children in Suffolk County Supreme Court.

On behalf of his client, the defendant-wife, and after a trial before the Honorable Jerry Garguilo of the Suffolk County Supreme Court, Mr. LoFrumento obtained a decision in his client's favor (i) granting her child support of $4,388.08 per month based upon the plaintiff-husband's total income of $230,000 (ii) granting her an award of retroactive support arrears totaling $159,684.69 (iii) ordering the plaintiff-husband to pay $55,000 of her outstanding $60,000 in attorney fees and (iv) denying the plaintiff-husband any appreciation in the home she purchased approximately one year prior to marriage.

Mr. Langione won $1.989 million on behalf of a 57 year old Westchester County man who sustained disabling injuries while working as a video technician for an HBO production at a theatre owned and operated by New York University. Plaintiff fell ten feet into a negligently lowered orchestra pit. The stage was lowered without the required warnings in a completely darkened theatre, creating a dangerous and unavoidable hazard.
